Seen this before
Must ve been 6 in the morning. The backwaters of Kerala. Wake up in a stupor, bang my legs on the cot and stumble onto the deck of the houseboat. And see paradise shrugging off the dark. A lump in the throat. And you feel God must exist and does love you. I would like to think it was just the vodka.
An onlooker at office commented that the scene is nothing special. Pictures by over enthusiatic amateurs always almost never are. I had no one to share the sight with that morning. The sun was rising just for me. That is special

i was there. i made the sunrise, sonny. and the vodka...hic. those pics just remind me how i made them look. nice ofcourse!

Hey h! The vodka managed to screw my night, but i guess the sunrise made up for all that. Where were you in Kerala?
i wasn't anywhere near the backwaters around sunrise, sadly. we were there on a rainy, humid afternoon. and the skies looked so heavy even when it didn't rain. like the moist eyes of a girl when you know that tears are imminent. it was wonderful. and when it didn't rain, it was just wonderful for taking pictures. the light was so diffused. i'll mail you a few pics, perhaps you can post them here ;)
